Day Tripper
I'm headed up to the beautiful town of Anacortes, WA today to hang with The Scientist's family at his grandma's house. Anacortes is a delightful little town on Puget Sound and is the gateway to the San Juan Islands, the most beautiful place on earth (IMHO). Here are a few pictures of Anacortes.

The Scientist's grandma's house is everything a grandma's house should be. It's old, it's full of trinkets and hand-knitted afghans, and it exudes laughter and joy. And since it's Easter, I'm sure there will be quite a spread. I'm not a religious person but I never turn down free food!

Wow. It looks gorgeous!
Funny, I have lived in the Pacific NW all my life but I don't think I've ever been to Anacortes. It looks beautiful though, I should add it to my list!
All of my father's side of the family lives up there and you're right, it's beautiful. Definitely good for a nice visit.
