This morning I woke up, fed the cats and groggily walked into the kitchen to get some coffee started.  I kissed The Scientist goodbye as he left for work.  While the coffee brewed, I took a quick shower.  I made some eggs (fresh, natural eggs from my friend Sabrina's chickens!), sat down at the computer to read a few morning headlines, and worked on a math assignment.  I did some dishes, folded some laundry, and caught up on a few random household projects.

The sun is shining brightly and the few clouds that are floating in the pale blue sky resemble cottonballs.  The autumn colors on the trees are almost blinding, they're so bright.  The Scientist will be coming home for lunch pretty soon and we'll probably head over to our favorite sushi place for a quick bite. 

I want to take advantage of this beautiful weather (since I know 6 months of suicide inducing cold, gray, rainy weather is hiding around the corner) so I'll definitely be going for a walk or a run later.  At some point today, I need to get a few things at Target, like toilet paper, dish soap, and other not-so-exciting things.  But maybe I'll treat myself to a piece of jewelry or a cute shirt one of the zillion clearance racks. 

I have class tonight from 6 to 10 pm and when I return home I'll be finishing up the last bit of a paper that's due tomorrow morning (procrastinating much?). Somewhere in there I will find a way to eat dinner, whether it's a quick bite before I go or a sack lunch I'll eat in between classes.
