One cancelled flight = 3 day delay
One flight to Chicago = 4 hours
One flight to NYC = 2 1/2 hours
Cab ride from LaGuardia to Bus Terminal = $35
2 beers and a slice of pizza while waiting for bus = $15
Having no idea where to go inside bus terminal and almost missing bus = Frustrating, annoying, infuriating
Bus ride in the middle of the night from NYC to Boston, with stops in Hartford and Worcester along the way = 4 of the most uncomfortable hours of my entire life, and a drunk guy falling on me
Layover at South Boston bus station at 4 am = 1 hour, $9 for McDonalds breakfast food, frozen butt cheeks from sitting on the concrete floor for an hour
Bus ride from Boston to Portland, Maine, with a stop in Portsmouth, NH along the way = 2 hours
Arriving in Portland after 24+ hours of travel, exhausted and with glazed over eyes, and spending the next 3 days celebrating the marriage of 2 of the most wonderful people in the world = FUCKING PRICELESS

oh good LORD that trip sounds thoroughly horrific. so glad it didn't ruin the weekend, though!
They better buy you guys a kick ass wedding gift! How was the weather? could you wear your cute dress?
@Alice - It was EXHAUSTING. But the weekend was a blast and the wedding was amazing. Yay!
@Nikki - I know, right? The weather was awesome, hot and humid just how I like it. I actually wore a different dress! I wore a purple one instead because it went better with the colors of the wedding.
Glad you had a great time, but whoa! That's a lot of travel time :)
