Alpine Getaway

We jetted out of town on Friday morning and returned Sunday afternoon. It was a perfect weekend of relaxation, food, wine, laughter, sparse internet access, beautiful scenery, snow, and freshly pressed apple cider (especially after midterms last week!). Take a look:

Upon arrival to the cabin, we discovered there was no wine key to be found. So we improvised. With a screwdriver.

My friend from Seattle just told me about Leavenworth last week! She said she wanted to live there. Glad you had a great weekend!
Oh I love Leavenworth so much. Even when we actually went to Bavaria, our first comment was "Wow, they did a really good job with Leavenworth!" Ha!

LOVE Leavenworth! We go every year at least once but we always stay in town. I would love to stay in one of cute cabins up there!

I haven't been to Leanvenworth in so long. Looks like a fun though, brats and wine...MUST GET IN THAT WINE. That's the spirit! ;)
